    1. I guess, but that's not really important. Ultimately, multi-valued attributes become a weak entity and then a table with a foreign key relation to the original entity.

    2. Yes, but you have to decide that if its sub-parts more than 3 or 4 than consider as "Multi-valued" attribute or if their sub-parts are 3 or 4 then use it as "Composite" attribute.

    4. I guess ye it is possible... As for example when we think of an address then it can be a multivalued as it can be contact address, current or a permanent address and it can be composite too as it me made up of different entities...example postal address, lane number, street name, reference point, house number, etc.

So in my view an attribute can be both multivalued and composite as well.

    1. I believe Phone Numbers and Addresses are both composite and multi-valued. Phone numbers are composite because the first three numbers of your phone number are the area code, the next three numbers are the exchange code, and the last four are the subscriber line code, a.k.a you. It is also multi-valued because you can have multiple phone numbers.

  7. 21st century educational leadership should be equipped to deal with the myriad changes bombarding the educational arena. As technology, culture, politics, economy, and social factors continue to modify the educational environment, academic-qualification should no longer be the measuring stick by which leaders are prepared. The need to develop adaptive-competent qualified leaders becomes necessary. acim blog

  9. Educating the best and the brightest in this brave new world will take a new and improved educational paradigm. Allowing our educational tools to age in the corner of the classroom will be the mistake that may cost us our future. Throwing away masses of children to inequitable access will ensure that we languish at the bottom of the global pool of employable workers for decades to come. authors a course in miracles
